Can I send a fax on my computer with a wireless connection, or do I need a phone line?
It sounds like a dumb question but I never tried and now Im trying to and it doesn’t work. Anyone help?
I don’t wish to send a fax to an email address, but want to send to a fax machine. But I get an error message saying it was unsuccessful, no dial tone. So looks like I DO need a phone line.

you can only use some special sites for sending fax, ther is no other way without tel-line
You don’t need a phone line to send a fax. Internet faxing allows you to send/receive faxes from your email. When you send a fax from your email it will be delivered to the recipient’s fax machine.
