When you scan a document with a scanner, it becomes a picture file. You can simply e-mail the picture file as a file attachment to whoever you want.
If you want to send the picture file to a real fax machine that’s hooked up to a telephone line, then you can use an internet fax service like this one:

ofcorz you cannot use a scanner as a fax machine…. theres no such way if thats just a scanner… how can it prints the recieved fax if it just a scanner… fax machine is a fax machine and scanner is a scanner… scanner scans images and text while fax machines send and receive fax messages…
