A request for a patient’s medical record is sent by fax to the office. The fax cover sheet contains the letterhead of a nearby medical facility. You do not recognize the name of the physician, fax number, or telephone number stated for the physician’s office. How do you response to the request?

Cheeez! Every time I get a document from a colleague or a simple fax cover sheet and make a minor correction to it, I end up with red lines, blue type, automatic bullets, auto correct features and an old version that I revised months ago. I JUST WANT TO PRINT A ONE PAGE TEMPLATE!

Anyone else have the same frustration as me?

A brief, well told tale of Microsoft Word anguish gets you 10 points. You derserve 50 but 10 is all I can control.

used wizard in fax console. I end up w/cover sheet, but have not been able to fax scanned items w/cover. Tried dialing direct from fax/scanner/copier still get ‘no answer’ from action. HELP!

Back on windows xp (the good old days) you could choose from temple on word for resumes and fax cover sheets all that good stuff. I can’t seem to find that on vista. Did they take it off or is it hidden like everything else?I HATE VISTA!!!!?

I’ve asked my boss and was told I can say whatever i want… All my fax cover sheets have my name on it and they say account accoordinator. but, what I do is I work for a attorney services office. I make calls, make sure where supoenas get served.data entry. Faxing, I file and cover the switchboard while the receptionist is on brake. So I’m not dealing with money at all. So would this be considered Customer Service? Or office support or something?

I drew a table and I am entering in info to make a fax cover sheet, when I hit the tab key to tab over it duplicates the cell. How can I get rid of that and just tab over??

When I send a fax, should the cover sheet scan first or last?

I go into my lexmark sofeware and click send a fax, It scans
the fax on the scanner and I add my cover sheet.
I then put the persons name and fax number I’m sending it
to. I have another screen come up and tells me it is connecting
and I here the dial tone and ringing of the number and it sounds
like it’s going through and then after a few seconds it comes
back and said it failed connection. It sounds like it’s going to
work and then it doesn’t. Help

I have a PDF file (it’s basically a fax cover sheet), and I want people who are using Adobe Reader to be able to type into the fields. I tried added text boxes, and that works as long as the person viewing the PDF is using Acrobat but it does not work with Reader. Is there any way I can set this up to allow typing in Reader?

My title is Administrator because they can’t find another name for someone who does just about everything plus accounting. Review period is coming up and I’m trying to think of little extras I can do that would make me look good. I’ve done phone lists, calenders, new fax cover sheets…any ideas?

But, on another program it was shown that 90% of Fortune 500 C.E.O’s had ‘floor files’ which in my small business I did, also. I found that with scores of projects going at the same time something important would fall through the cracks or, even worse, a new client would call and catch me off gaurd if I didn’t have his/her file in front of me in order to refresh my memory-I might forget their name, I was so busy.
Making a ‘goof’ could cost me a lot of money or at the least make me very embarrassed.
But what I have going on now is a complete disaster.
I work at home with a small recording studio in my office and I cannot find things that will bring in money. In one situation all that needs to be done is put together a fax cover sheet and send in some paper work to receive a 0 re-imbursement. It sits right in front of me and has for months. I need the money.
While I get this together top send in coould someone please help.

I am trying to shorten my learning curve as time is not on my side. The sytem in the fax console is working fine. Can some one tell me please. How do I send the cover sheet and attach a word document and send it to the recipient.

Lastly How do I set up the printer to print the the documents and save it in sent faxes. If there is a site that explains it clearly, that would be great for the URL.

I just tried making a fax cover sheet, when I went to print it asked me to agree to some liscensing thing and then sent the document to Onenote 2007 instead of my installed printer, now I cant print or change it back to the original printer. Ok, so we have a general Fax Coversheet at our office (we run a children’s movie DVD distribution facility) and it is saved on our network Microsoft word program. Anyway, whenever you need a faxcover sheet you just acces it through the network and edit it to apply to whomever you’re sending it to. Anyway, yesterday my friend sent a fax to his girlfriend in New Jeresey and inthe fax cover sheet comments section he jokingly wrote: I MISS BANGING YOU IN THE ASS.
The next day, he had to send something to our female boss and used a fax cover sheet but forgot to erase that nasty comment. Now she’s pissed…and he doesnt know what to do. Any advice?
