Are mobile lines (Wirelessing sytem) able to recive data that, sent from a phone line, like fax and … ? Ofcoure thay (The Mobile phone & PC) are conected to each other with simple call, and also the mobile phone don’t have the DATA SERVICE, just phone line have it?

i do alot of faxing stuff, first i write altter then i have to print it out then i have to put it threw the fax machine any way i can just send it right from my pc to the fax with out having to print it out first. this will save me time and ink.

can you call a phone number with dsl or is it like hi speed. with hi speed you need voip. i send a lot of faxes from my pc and i need call phone numbers.

I have an epson 500 all in one printer and I can connect it via a line / phone cable to my Sony Vaio LT32E which also has the same jack needed.
What I would like to do is send a paper fax from the epson but through my internet connection on the Sony Vaio PC.
Is this at all possible and if so what kind of software do I need to get this set up.
Oh if there is any free software please let me know also.

i was trying to print something on my pc the other day& a fax thing came up what is it used for?

I want use my computer for sending and recieving the documents.

this was the premise of the game.
after you install it on the computer, you give it your personal information, work phone, home phone,fax number and various other info.

then you begin to receive weird phone calls, and people asking you weird requests, then they send you weird stuff in the mail, i think it would also have people calling you telling you someone else will call then you get calls from people saying i need your help.

On the box it warned you, that you wont new when the game will start and you cant end it, only they can.
I think they sold it in target in the mid 90′s

I was wondering if it is possible to send a document (such as a Word document) to my downstairs computer to print it. The laptop connects wirelessly to my router which is directly connected to the PC. Is there any way for my to access the printer from my laptop?

I don’t think the printer is blue tooth compatible. It is also a fax machine though so if there is any kind of fax wizard on my laptop that would be great to know about. I have a dell inspiron by the way. Thanks!

They look like photos & graphics my pc stored from internet browsing. How do I get rid of them? Which folder are they in?

Do I need to have external modem and filter connected between DSL modem and the computer to make me able to send PC fax only

i tried to use windows fax software. the problem is if other part calls to send a fax page i don’t get any notification (alert like normal fax machine rings) from computer software even program says it’s online. i press the "receive fax" button and they are sending after i call them informing i’m ready to receive. what i want is, somewhere i had seen a program that rings automatically if smbd wants to send fax. tnx
btw, i need only to receive faxes, sending is not important..

I have fox modem in my computer, I have DSL connection to internet, I’m not able to send PC fax only, I got some answer to this question, I understand something it help me little, I found out that I need filter for the phone line to put it between the phone line and the computer, I disconnect the phone and I used this line in the computer it is already with filter but that does not help, the fax always failled with error, do I need two filters? one in the pc and the other in the DSL

I have Verizon DSL and Phone service. My phone line plugs into my router (obviously) and the printer is USB from my pc. I have a dial tone using the phone for calls but not when trying to send or receive a fax. I have a Pixma MP150 3 in one printer and is compatible for scanning and printing fax’s. Is it in my phone line? It tries to send but always says there is an error and cannot complete the fax. I have called the Fax number on my phone and it is indeed a valid Fax number. I’m at a loss and Verizon "Help" had no resolution. Any Ideas out there?

I will do minmum faxing but would it better to get a fax machine or just buy software to send and get fax from my PC??

Also I cannot fax from my PC as it does not recognize the unit I am running qwindows XP. I also cannot recieve a fax as the stored # is not mine and the fax goes elsewhere. I would like to set up the fax to send and recieve with my # so I can recieve faxes. If possible I want to use the pc to send and recieve faxes as well. Can you help As far as I can tell every thing is hooked up properly, ans all the soft ware has been installed correctly. I get a message cannot communicate with PC.

I want to know what you exactly need in order to fax from your pc. Do I have to have a phone line and a dial-up modem, or are there any programs that can be used over a broadband connection? I don’t have phone service, just dsl, and was wondering if there are any programs that any of you have used that is able to work over broadband.

I own a pc and a Brother integrated printer-fax-scanner MFC5440CN.
The Brother provided software doesn’t show an option of sending a fax directly from my pc. This is a significant disadvantage, since I must first print any document I plan to fax, and only as a second step fax it.
Do you know a way I can add direct faxing to my Brother unit?

I read the suggestion to add faxing capabilities to my xp pro system and followed the instruction.
Here’re my comments:
1. Adding this option requires mounting the xp installation disk (which I did)
2. Another requirement for this option to work is the availability of a modem. I’m connected to the web by DSL and manage without a modem. Therefore, I failed to implemet the suggestion.
3. I did learn however a point, which led me to a solution. Printing a document, allows the choice of a printer. Brother MFC-5440CN includes a printer called "Brother PC-Fax". When I choose this printer, I’m ofered a dialer, which uses a DSL connection, and provides a direct faxing capabilities to my system.
