How can I install my modem on my laptop it has no ethermet port?

   if you are talking about connecting a cable/DSL modem to your laptop and there is only a phone jack on the laptop you are out of luck.

   U need to get an ethernet PC card to plug into your laptop.
   hopefully it has PC card slots- most do.

   by the sounds of it, you will probably have to buy a PCI ethernet card from walmart for about $30. That will allow you to plug in your ethernet cable to your laptop.

   If you are missing a LAN port on the laptop, you need to install a network card. If your modem is missing the port, you need to replace it with a router or different model modem. Your question did not make this clear.

   get an adapter or install a ethernet port in laptop if you can fit it.
