How can I temporarily switch back to dial up so I could send fax?
I was able to send and receive fax when I was using the dial up but now I can’t because I’m currently using DSL. I had followed instruction from Windows Fax capability and it requires to insert the Windows XP Professional CD-ROM. I don’t have it on hand because my Desktop was customized. Also, I have Lexmark 4300 Series All-in-One but it failed, no dial tone. I only have one phone line. BTW, I’m aware of eFax and other fax services online. What’s your best technical advice? Many thanks in advance.

assuming you have a fax capable modem, just plug in your phone line to your pc, and you can fax without the need for a dial-up account.
