How do I scan a picture onto my computer?
I have a Lexmark X9575 printer. It has the options of regular printing, faxing, copying, and scanning. When I click the scan button though, it says "downloading scan applications list from your computer. Please wait.." and then after a couple minutes it comes up with a message that says, "Cannot retrieve scan applications list from your computer" and goes back to the normal menu.
anyone know how to get it to work?

Yes, dear lady. It’s telling you that you haven’t installed the scanning application that was on the CD when you purchased the multi-function device … that’s why it can’t retrieve the scan applications.
Are you able to put your hands on the CD? If not, enter the operating system on your computer into the dropdown box on the following page. I’ll tell you now though that it’s quite a big download.
