How do I send a fax using email?
I’ve heard of software that will send faxes using an email account, but is there a way to do this without the software? I’ve tried one way that I read on some website, but I don’t know if it worked.

Hi Mojdee,
You need to subscribe to an online fax service. They send and receive fax for you for a small fee. All you need is an internet connection, an email address and your fax service subscription.
You save a lot this way. You won’t have to buy fax paper, toner or print cartridges, and no fax phone line expense.
Try out RingCentral. They have a 30-day free trial period.
Or you can choose from the top fax services online here
this without the software? > Is it a joke ?
You may send your faxes with this website http://faxzero.com .. there are some other applicarions that do the same but they are not free.
Fax uses the telephone line.
E-mail uses the internet connection.
The two are entirely different in operation.
MOST OS’s have a Fax software application that allows you to send and receive faxes. (It may be an "optional" program that you install.)
Using E-mail to Fax, you send it to a company that THEN makes the Fax transmission. These companies charge a fee for this in MOST cases, (just like going to a store to have the fax sent!)
