How do you set up a printer that has a fax machine at home?
I am inquiring about buying one of those All-in-one printers that scan, print, copy and fax. If I do purchase one, how would I set up the fax at home? Do i connect it to my regular phone line? Do I have to add another line to my house phone? Also, where do the charges for sent and recieved faxes go to? Or are there even any charges? Sorry for so many questions, I have no clue whatsoever and this is a really big purchase for me. Thank you for your time.

When you go to make your purchase why not ask the person who is selling you the equipment your question and they will be able to give you all the answers you need, maybe they could even have someone come to your house and set it up for a small fee. Hope my answer was helpful?
If you want to only send out faxes then you just have to connect it to an existing phone jack. If you want to receive as well as send out faxes than you will have to call your telephone company and request them to add a dedicated fax line on to your phone line, only problem with this is only one jack will have the fax number hooked up to it.
Ask the sales, you can reduce lots of trouble
