How to fax something to an email account?
I have to scan weekly homework and send it in via the internet, but I don’t have access to a scanner. I hear that you can use a fax machine to send the page directly to your email account. How do I do that? I’ve googled a whole bunch of stuff and the only thing I am getting is how to send a fax via email and that you have to purchase something in order to do that. I dont care to do so, I just need some way to get my homework onto a computer! and preferably through a fax machine…. someone please help ASAP!

Not possible. You heard wrong.
Some older "all-in-one" accounts let you sign up for an incoming fax number in addition to your e-mail for an "universal inbox". It is NOT an universal feature.
Why not just BUY a scanner? You can buy an "all-in-one" for under $100. You can find sheetfed scanners for even less if you look on Craigslist or something.
