if i fax a resume and cover letter to a company what happens if the business is closed for the day??
I wanted to send my resume to this company thats hiring for a part-time receptionist but they close at 4pm I didn’t have enough time to send the fax on time. What happens if I send the fax even after they close, does it go through or I have to wait til the next day to do so?

It goes through even if no one is there.
It will be laying in the tray waiting for them. Even if a fax machine is turned off, the faxes queue up waiting for the machine to be turned on.
Not to worry.
The fax still gets there…it’s just sits in the tray….
the fax will ususally go through, as l;ong as their fax machine is on.
They will get it the next buisiness day.
