Is it normal for someone’s personal information to pop out of a printer that is not fax ready?
I do not know this person at all, this came out of my printer at 4am, and I have no idea. It cannot be a fax because my PC has the web connection. Did somebody try to print through my pc’s IP?

it is likely that someone printed using your printer, which means your firewall is either a: non-existent, b: not working properly, or c: a piece of shyte.
I recommend checking ur firewall, and making sure it’s turned on. If u don’t have one, turn the one on that comes with Windows, it’s better than nothing.
Also, turn ur printer off, when it’s not in use, as it’s better for the environment anyway.
if it came from someone else on ur network though, then just go to ur printer control panels, go into properties of the printer in question, and de-select share this printer.
Agreed – you should make sure that you have double checked your firewall to ensure that it is on. Do people still send faxes these days anyway?
surely everyone emails!
