There’s a job I like in Career Builder and there’s a phone number. I called the contact but he did not answer so I left a message. In the job description, there’s no official address but it says the name of the company and the location and so I googled it and it appeared the address for that company.
Question is, I can’t wait to apply and today I know I don’t have time to go and mail and print my application…is it proper to send my cover letter and resume through fax or email to them??? Or is it more considered if I print them out and send them in envelope??
Thanks!
i need to fax my resume and cover letter but they are asking for a cover sheet, is it the same document? what does a cover sheet have?
Verizon supports faxing (have Unlimited internet accesses) from my computer. The problem is, all I can send is the cover letter, I don’t know how to attache any thing to it.
Today I noticed a charge on my bank statement from TWX AOL I see this every month but dont pay it much attention. I called today to find out it was internet service. I told the lady I haven’t had AOL and almost 3 years she pulls me up and since no activity for the last 6 months (because I dont have it) and say’s 2 years six months ago I called to cancel and on the same phone call I reorderd it. I told her she was full of you know what I canceled the free subscription . An I never reordered it if there records could go back 2 years 5 months they would see there has never been any activity. So she say’s fax my bank statements from the time billing started. I figure I should put in what the problem is in a cover letter. What my question is, is there any chance I am going to be refunded?
or just the cover letter and the resume.
I received a job offer and accepted, in writing, on 10-13-06. On 10-13-06 I gave my employer 2 week notice. I began my new job on 10-30-06 at 7:30am. At 8am they advised of drug testing requirement. I went home to get meds before test. I advised drug test facility I had meds that would test positive but they denied to look at the rxs. By the time I got back to work, my new employer had received a call that I had a non-negative reading and that it would be sent for further evaluation. I offered to get an additional test that would verify the drugs found in system. They approved. I got the test done, had it faxed over with a cover letter explaining my medical need and the type of medication prescribed and verified. The new employer still won’t let me work until they get results from Arizona lab and MRO. Is this legal? I was to START my job, now I’m WITHOUTa job and at a loss of income for appx 3 days. They could have done this 2 weeks ago.HR stated they can withdraw my offer!?
An potential employer is requesting(from an ad) to either email or fax resumes. I intend to fax. Shall I put my cover letter information on the fax cover sheet or keep them all separate? In addition, they are asking for "salary requirements"–where a good resource for that determination?
I am submitting my resume via fax and am not sure what to write in the notes section if anything at all. It’s not like I am "attaching" my resume and cover letter.
