I can hardly find printers that function as fax machines that are affordable anymore, and a simple fax machine, even at the low end will cost well over 0. And I’m comparing to the use of an online fax service that will cost about per month.

So which makes more sense? Does anyone here use an online service just for regular home use? Is it worth it?

The faxes need to be able to be automatically generated, meaning that we don’t have to go to the website of the fax service to send the fax. We will be using this service in conjunction with an online ordering system so that when a customer places an order on our website, a fax is automatically sent out to the merchant with the order details. There was series of emails I (or my husband) got from unidentified person. This person used Gmail, which doesn’t reveal its originating IP address. Also, this person has few on-line mail & fax service account. However, these are one-way only, and the web site doesn’t want to reveal originating IP address. The threat is very personal matter.

Every time i try to send a fax from my computer using windows fax service it tells me that there is no answer. I have the Modem sound turned on and can hear the connection being made for about one second and then the fax monitor disconnects and says there was no answer. I need fax service via Internet. NOT via tel line. Which i never knew thats its exist until that frist guy told me.!!

I use a mobil fax service with internet faxes being sent to us as an attachment – I have to download the attachment, and then I can print it out – but now that I have done that, I cant find where it downloaded to and it didnt give me the option to download it into the file that I need it in – I need to move it into a specific file in my computer for further work with it.
