Do you use it less now with online fax services, or do you still use your home based fax, or do you use both?

Internet fax for receiving to save on paper and wear and tear on the machine and a fax machine to send out?

I have call canon, they send me to what they call is a dealer
after 2 calls there,they tell me they dont handle, they only handle printers and this is printer/fax. where do i go to get help setting up the internet fax, so i wont need this phone line? any help would be appreciated

one needs to be able to place items to fax in machine and then email out to other computer or fax. there is actual setup in system for email addresses. However, i am having problems with this and canon will not help or advise, just wants me to find dealer, who also states they do not help.. to fax from my computer to another fax/computer yes i would need actual phone line which i am trying to avoid. Thanks any additional thoughts

I have tried various softwares on the internet that allow you to fax via the web to any physical fax machine…but they charge too much and most of them charge by the month. I wanted to see if there is something other than these…I have checked efax, myfax, 32bit internet fax and some others.

I am looking for a good solution for an internet fax system. I have seen a few that make you have ads on the fax, and some that cost money. Is there a good free service available?

In my state, I cannot find a company that will ‘port’ my current number. So I would like to know a little about the process of starting an internet fax company, as they seem to be popping up daily.

How do I setup internet fax myself if i do not want to use commercial fax service like efax?

I have to send a fax for an order because i am a "new" distributor & my credit card information will be listed on that paper sheet…do you think it is safe for me to do an internet fax? thanks in advance!
