I’m looking to get a all in one printer with fax.
Q: I have a laptop, can the printer be set up to a laptop? Will I need special wires or anything?
Q: I don’t have a land line at home, I only use my cell. Can I make the fax work via my cell phone?
Q: wireless printers…exactly what is wireless? plz explain.
Q: I have wireless internet at home, can I fax wirelessly that way?

Can any body tell how to fax scanned documents? Is there some free service? what’s the best deal for paid option? And if i send fax through some free programme, will there be any ad or sth on the printout at the other end?
( I don’t use telephone line or cable for internet. I use wireless internet through a usb which carries a phone sim card’)

I am not looking for any service provider like efax and other; but how is it possible to do it from Wireless internet?

I have the wireless internet through AT&T is it possible to fax without using a phone line since my wireless internet does have it’s own phone number?

I just hooked up my old computer, and want it to have wireless internet. Now, does this mean I must have a wireless card AND router for the old computer, or do I just need a router to install onto the old computer, and I can hook-up to the already existent wifi I have?

My roommate and I are going to rent an apartment. We each have a laptop. The owner said he would install ADSL or cable internet for us. If my roommate connects to the landline, what do I need to install to get wireless internet?

We are both pretty clueless about this so the simpler the explanation, the more helpful it will be. Is there a product you can recommend? Does it matter that I have a Mac and my roommate has a PC?
