Trying to send a fax through my computer, help pls.?
I installed the fax component on my Windows XP, and it keeps saying there is no dial tone, but I have cable internet service. Do I need to connect my phone cord to my computer and send the faxes through the phone line or can a fax be sent through the cable internet connnection?

Do u have a fax printer if so then wehen printing go to FILE PRINT Then Select the fax option and folow the steps

You will need to connect your phone cord to your modem … if you havent got a modem then the you may wish to use the service listed above.
it’s almost impossible to set up, just get a normal fax machine.
