What kind of jobs do you Apply for in person, instead of sending resumes?
All jobs listed in newspaper adds, and internet seem to be jobs where you send your resume and hope you’ll get a response, but aside from Restaurant type work, where do you actually go in into a building, talk to someone and fill and application to submit. I’ve been searching for office jobs and usually the ads list fax number to send resume, and that’s it. And it’s not working, so any advice? And i’m in my 20′s.

Most jobs will accept a resume dropped off in person. Personally, i have sent out very few, I at least like to find out where the human resource departments are and drop them off there..
your better off to go to the place ad apply or drop off your resume it makes it look as if you are more serious then other applications and the face to face if you can get it with the manager boss human resource person is a Hugh help they will be able to put a face with a application. which will give you a better chance.
Email a resume if you cannot fax it. If you want to hit the pavement, look for retail jobs or trades. Most offices want a professional and answering an ad by just walking in is not professional. The HR Director or Manager will more likely want to schedule times for interviews, not take them as they come. If you are young and do not have a lot of experience try a Receptionist position. Good luck!
Generally Professional Positions require the use of a resume, lower paying by the hour positions will accept a walk in application,,,
