Why cant i send a fax?
I am on broadband internet, with a al-in-one printer / fax .
I have tryed to set everything up config pc etc . But each time i send a fax it says NO DIAL TONE . realy getting to me now.
I have windows xp and there was no disc with it . In built i think.
Any help please .

A fax requires a phone line to send. If you don’t have a phone line connected, your fax won’t work. To use internet faxing, you have to subscribe to a service that converts your document or email and transmits it over the phone. If you don’t have a land line you may be able to connect using your cell phone.
If you send and receive faxes regularly you will want to subscribe to a service.
I have searched like crazy. This one seems to be the best overall. Only $10 per month. I have used it for over a year.
