why wont pigpond adsl selfinstall disc install?
when i try to install the adsl self install disk an error page comes like it will come up and i will do i agree thing and click on the thing where it will help u install but when i click next the page will come up and say error and it tell me to reboot the modem restart computer and stuff or call customer support i tried rebooting and restarting but it wont work whats wrong can any 1 help me before i waste my time waiting for ages just to get a customer support person

You shouldn’t install it – there are no modem drivers (unless you’re using a USB connection to the modem, which you shouldn’t.) If your Ethernet card is working, and you connect the modem to it, it should work.
Installing provider software is a HUGE cause of problems.
I’ve known people that have had problems installing their Bigpond ADSL connections. They had no choice but to contact Telstra and get them to guide them through the set up.
Nobody likes to talk to the money hungry Telstra support, but it might be your only choice.
